Let it Snow?

Well, there is one thing I can tell you about the weather at the moment and that is there is no snow in sight (and never will be in this part of the world). I know it seems a little crazy to be making a snow card, right? One can dream, can't they? After the hot humid week we've had it can at least make me pretend it's a little cooler now!!

I am attempting a new challenge site, Less is More, and this week's challenge is to create a one layer challenge with the theme, Let it Snow. Not sure if I've cheated or not, but have made a 'window' card, where I have punched out a circle so that you can see the inside of my card... ok, and I'll admit it, it saves me decorating the inside-a win-win I'd say!!

This card was so quick and easy I made 6 of them, just so I could finish off sending out my Christmas cards (I know I left it to the last minute) although it wasn't my intention, but life gets busy...I actually used 3 Stampin' Up stampsets for this card- Trendy Trees, Short and Sweet and my new Beautiful Season. I can't remember the last time I used Trendy Trees OR my Whisper White ink (it had been so long that I had to re-ink it-LOL!)
Just realised as I posted this that I meant to add some 'snow' to the top of my branches and some dazzling diamond glitter.  Guess I'm off to do that now... See ya Peeps, and Merry Christmas-Let it Snow!!

Ha ha, I remember well the weather in Cairns at this time of year.
This card is gorgeous, love the way you used the Trendy Tree set without the foliage, I would never have thought of that so thanks for the inspiraion.

I love the little circular window to your beautiful snowy scene. You are right you won't be getting snow any time soon! My husband is from Townsville but we now live in Canada and I bit of snow before Christmas would be nice!

This is a super card Paula and you only have one layer on the front of your card so that's just fine and dandy!
It's a beautiful little scene too!
Thanks so much for joining us and now that you've found us, we hope to see you every week.

Fantastic card, the picture window is such a clever idea for a OLC!
It does seem funny to be creating snowflake cards here in Summer (or Winter)... but I do LOVE snowflakes!
